Message	I had two incidents like yours with my old hks tp. The car would not start, I disconnected the hks tp and drove off. I reconnected, it was fine for a few months then again. After the third no-start the hks tp would not function again. I do not consider the tp's death to be untimely. I worked great for a very long time. I'm currently looking for a replacement.
